What people have to say about Mid-Cities Teen Book Fest:
“The Mid-Cities Teen Book Festival is a highly enjoyable, smartly-run event with great, enthusiastic crowds and truly wonderful organizers. I’d recommend it to any author looking to connect with readers on an intimate, personal level while still getting great crowds in a pleasant library venue. It’s the best of all worlds. I would absolutely come again!” -Brendan Reichs, NYT bestselling author of ’Nemesis’ and co-author of ’The Darkdeep’ (with Ally Condie).
"I think it was one of Samantha's favorite festivals so far! She raved about how well-organized it was and how engaged the teens were." -Jacqueline Burke, agent for Samantha Mabry, guest author, 2017 MCTBF
"I’m glad I attended because I got to listen to authors who aren’t just literary geniuses—they’re just like everyone else with their own lives and problems to face. Two things spoke to me... one is that to be yourself when writing and it’s okay to collaborate with someone. You could get good feedback if you share your ideas with people and learn from them." -Student
"Thank you so very much for having me, and I'd love to be back! Your kids were wonderful and the festival went so smoothly!" -Jennifer Mathieu, guest author, 2017 MCTBF
