The Mid-Cities Teen Book Fest is a fun-filled day for teens from around the North Texas area to meet and greet with nationally recognized authors, participate in writing activities, and learn more about upcoming YA book releases!
The Mid-Cities Teen Book Fest (MCTBF) began in 2016 with a small number of authors and has grown to include almost a dozen YA authors.
The MCTBF is held annually on the third Saturday in October at the North Richland Hills Library.
What You Can Expect:
Author Panels with Q & A Sessions
Meet & Greet with Favorite Authors
Authors' books available for purchase through Barnes & Noble
Why Should I Bring My Students?
At the MCTBF, teens have the opportunity to meet YA authors they normally would not have the opportunity to meet, giving them the chance to build connections with other teens and authors. Authors will speak about their books and a variety of topics, increasing attendees' awareness of other cultures and lifestyles.
In-N-Out Burgers will be providing lunch for the first 250 attendees, so make sure to grab a wristband when you arrive!
If burgers aren't your thing, don't worry -- there are many other food options a short walk or ride away from the Library! We've created a map of nearby restaurantsfor your convenience.
