TinkerCAD Basics 5:30 p.m.

This class is an introduction to the basics of modeling in TinkerCAD, a free, easy-to-use app for 3D design. TinkerCAD is beginner-friendly, and a great introduction working in Autodesk modeling software. All class attendees must have an NRH Library card in good standing. Please read The Maker Usage Policy for more information. All attendees must complete a Maker Agreement before attending the class. Please arrive early to the class so that it can begin on time.

This class is open to those 10 years of age and older. Children ages 10-13 must have a parent attend class with them.

In this class you will learn:
  • The basics of solid modeling and TinkerCAD
  • How to create a pre-designed object
  • What an STL file is and its relation to 3D printing
