  1. Fall Concert Series: Spectrum Chamber Music Society 7:00 p.m.

    October 28, 2019, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Library Lobby

Spectrum is the oldest continually operating series of professional chamber music performances in Fort Worth. Though the majority of its members also perform in the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, they frequently feature artist-faculty members of local universities, members of other area orchestras and wind ensembles, and other solo artists with a broad range of talent and and enormous legacy of music.

The Spectrum Chamber Music Ensemble was founded in 1986 by six members of the Fort Worth Chamber Orchestra (now the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra) as a means to explore compositions written for smaller ensembles. Originally consisting of two violinists, two violists and two cellists, Spectrum soon expanded its scope to become an “umbrella organization,” presenting a wide variety of works involving a virtually infinite combination of instruments.

The Fall Concert Series is free and open to all ages. Please call 817-427-6814 for more information.
