  1. Fire Prevention Week Story Time 10:15 a.m.

    It's National Fire Prevention Week, and some special guests from our very own NRH Fire Department will be joining us for a unique storytime experience!

    Young children, ages 3 to 6 years, are invited to enjoy themed stories, action rhymes, see a fire truck, and learn about fire safety and prevention from a member of the NRH Fire Department!

    Storytimes provide a foundation for building a lifelong love of books and reading. Please call the Children’s Department at 817-427-6818 for more information.

The Maker Spot

  1. Embroidery Machine Basics 5:00 p.m.

    October 9, 2019, 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM @ The Maker Spot; 2nd Floor

    Learn the basics of embroidery on our Janome MC 200e Embroidery Machine. This class is required for anyone who wishes to use the embroidery machine in The Maker Spot. All class attendees must have an NRH library card in good standing. Please read The Maker Usage Policy for more information. All attendees must complete a Maker Agreement before attending the class. This class is open to those 17 years old and older.
