    Microsoft Word is the most popular word processing software used in businesses today. Want to be more marketable in the business world? Take this class to learn or refresh yourself on the Word 2016 documents basic interface, creating and opening documents, and the basics of working with text. That means learning to format font, font size, color, and cut/copy/pasting. This class is for beginners or someone who needs a refresher and will focus on the vocabulary of Word 2016 to set you up for Word Basics Part II.

    Class Requirements:
    Internet connection, a device with a screen large enough to view the class, access to Zoom, and Word 2013 or Word 2016 installed on your device. Students should also have basic computer skills.

  1. Virtual Storytime 10:30 a.m.

    August 11, 2020, 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM @ Online

    Storytimes will be premiered live on our Facebook on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. After the premiere, the video will be available on our website and YouTube channel for the duration of our closure. This program is similar to our in-person storytime and is geared towards young children, ages 3-6 years old. This program includes stories, action rhymes, and/or songs. Storytime provides a foundation for building a life-long love of books and reading.

The Maker Spot

  1. Online Crochet Basics 3:30 p.m.

    August 11, 2020, 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM @ Online - This class will be conducted using Zoom

    Learn the basics of crochet in this introductory online class. Students will learn crocheting basics like what a chain is, how to make a single stitch, and will work on a simple project. This class is for ages 16+ and will be taught live in zoom.

    Attendees will need access to a computer, tablet, or smart device that can connect to the internet, and preferably has video chat capabilities (ie camera or webcam, and a mic).
