Story Time and Toddler Time
Toddler Time
This 30-minute interactive program for Toddlers, 18 to 36 months, and their caregivers features stories, fingerplays, action rhymes and songs. Toddlers will be introduced to sounds, letter recognition and new words that will help them grow into pre-readers.

  • Location: Polly's Room in the Children's Library
  • Tuesday mornings from 10:00 am - 10:30 a.m.
  • For children ages 18 to 36 months and their parent or caregiver
  • Children and parents are encouraged to stay after Toddler Time for Stay and Play -- a time for children to learn social interaction skills and for parents to visit with other toddler parents

Story Time
Young children, ages 3 to 6 years, are invited to enjoy a variety of stories, action rhymes and/or songs during this 30 minute program. Story times provide a foundation for building a lifelong love of books and reading.

  • Location: Polly's Room in the Children's Library
  • Wednesday mornings from 10:15 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. and from 11:15 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.
  • For children ages 3 to 6
  • A craft activity will follow each Story Time
  • Parents are welcome to attend Story Time
