Apply for a Card
A Library Card
To apply for a library card, you must be a Texas resident, aged 17 or older. Visit the library and bring one of the following sets of documents:
  • A valid Texas driver's license with your current address, or
  • A valid Texas driver's license and proof of your current address, such as an insurance card, or
  • A form of photo identification, such as a passport, and proof of your current address, such as an insurance card

For minors, Texas residents under the age of 17, a parent or legal guardian must apply for the card and provide one of the sets of documents listed above.

Your card will be issued onsite and available for immediate use.

North Texas Library Consortium Benefits
The North Richland Hills Library is a proud member of the North Texas Library Consortium (NTLC). Obtaining a card at the North Richland Hills Library, or one of the other member libraries below, allows users to check-out, place holds and return items with any of the member libraries with just one card.

NTLC cardholders also have access to classes and equipment in The Maker Spot.
