The Mayor’s Reading Club is a self-paced reading program that helps to foster reading success by encouraging participants to record the length of time they spend reading each day during the summer months. The information on this page can also be found in a printable brochure here. (Español)

Program Information
  • Online registration for The 2017 Mayor's Summer Reading Club begins at 9:00 a.m. on  Saturday, June 3, 2017 and ends Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 4:00 p.m.
  • You can go online to library.nrhtx.com/onlinesrc to register and log hours. Get help registering, navigating and logging in the online software here: library.nrhtx.com/srchelp
  • All hours must be logged and prizes must be claimed by 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2017. The Mayor's Summer Reading Club will be over July 29th. No prizes will be available after 4:00 p.m. on July 29, 2017.
  • All prizes are available on a first come, first served basis and while supplies last.
