The Mayor’s Reading Club is a self-paced reading program that helps to foster reading success by encouraging participants to record the length of time they spend reading each day during the summer months. Official program brochure (Español).

Program Information

  • Online registration for The 2018 Mayor's Summer Reading Club begins at 9:00 a.m. on  Saturday, June 2, 2018.
  • You can go online to library.nrhtx.com/onlinesrc to register and log hours. Get help registering, navigating and logging in the online software here: library.nrhtx.com/srchelp
  • All hours must be logged and prizes must be claimed by 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2018. The Mayor's Summer Reading Club will be over August 4th. No prizes will be available after 4:00 p.m. on August 4, 2018.
  • All prizes are available on a first come, first served basis and while supplies last.
  • You can download a paper time sheet here.
  • Our rules have changed. You can download the complete program rules here.
