Refresh your skills on Lucy, our long-arm quilting machine. Because Lucy was unavailable for so long, we request that all previous users of the long-arm quilting machine attend a refresher class and re-take the test to be certified to use Lucy. Unfortunately, you will not be able to reserve Lucy until both of these steps have been completed.
This class will cover:
- Appropriate fabrics and battings to use
- Loading your quilt on the frame
- What thread to use
- Winding a bobbin and threading the machine
- How to quilt with Lucy
This will not be a hands-on class, and you do not need to bring any supplies.
Class Requirements:
This class is specifically for those who have already taken the Long Arm Quilting Basics. If you have not previously used Lucy, you must take one of our Quilting Basics classes.
