    Grab a book at a bargain on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at the Pop-Up Book Sale hosted by the Friends of the NRH Library! The book sale will take place from 1:00-4:00 p.m. in the Lobby of the NRH Library, with an assortment of books available. All proceeds support the Friends of the NRH Library in their mission to enhance literacy events and services at the Library.

    Join us for an hour of crafting for adults with our monthly Pinterest Parties! We'll tackle various DIY activities, and all of the supplies will be provided by the Library.

  1. Teddy Bear Sleepover

    Children's Desk

    Our young patron's favorite stuffed animals are invited to a sleepover at the library on Saturday, September 18th! During the day on Saturday, all participants will need to check in their stuffed animals at the children's desk for their stay. Stuffed animals will participate in fun sleepover activities like hide-and-seek, storytime, and snack time before being tucked in for their night in the library! Pick-up is on Monday, September 20th, at the children's desk, but don't worry -- our staff will be taking great care of them over the weekend. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Children's Department at 814-427-6818.

    Polly's Room

    Mollie's furry friends are ready to read with you! These cuddly, non-judgmental listeners are always happy to lend a paw. Reading to therapy dogs is a great way to strengthen reading skills and build confidence in young readers.

    Please arrive by 10:00 a.m. to sign up for your 15-minute time slot. There are a limited number of slots available and slots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please call the Children’s Department for more information at 817-427-6818.
