The Maker Spot

Non-resident membership fees will resume on September 1, 2022.

Memberships

Any user age 18 and under can always use the space and equipment for free, regardless of residency status. As of October 1, 2018, all users who are over 18 and are not residents of North Richland Hills will be required to maintain a monthly membership to use the equipment in The Maker Spot. Memberships are not required to take classes or attend events.

Memberships are paid online through the Friends of the Library, which provide financial support for the Maker Spot. All paid memberships are auto-renewed each month on the 1st day of the month and can be paused or canceled at any time. NRH residents who would like to make an extra contribution to support The Maker Spot are always welcome to make a donation. To cancel your membership, please call The Maker Spot at 817-427-6850.

Makers will need to supply their own thread, wood, filament, and other materials as necessary.

Get access to The Maker Spot with this monthly membership! Please select "The Maker Spot Monthly Membership" from the member options. Membership is required for makers who live outside of North Richland Hills, Texas, to use the equipment in The Maker Spot in the NRH Library. This membership is not required to take classes or attend non-fundraising events.

Maker Spot Donations

TMS DonationsDonations for The Maker Spot are always welcome! Donations are accepted through the Friends of the Library and are distributed to the Library. Donations can be made one-time or recurring; be sure to select "The Maker Spot" when designating what you are donating to.
