As you may know, all public libraries in Texas are transitioning to a new interlibrary loan system, SHAREit: Texas Armadillo Network, so that we can continue to provide you with access to materials unavailable at your Library.

As we migrate to the new system, interlibrary loan services will be temporarily unavailable from Wednesday, May 15, through Sunday, May 19. No new ILL requests may be submitted during this time. However, any ILL requests submitted and in process before 5/15 will continue to be processed.

Library patrons can begin using the new online system to place and track interlibrary loan requests on Monday, May 20. If you have any questions or problems submitting interlibrary loan requests, please do not hesitate to contact us at 817-427-6829 or nrhlibrary@nrhtx.com. We are here to help! 

To submit an ILL request beginning May 20, please follow the instructions below:

1. Select the Books & More tab on the Library's website. Under Request Items, select Interlibrary Loan and click on Request and Interlibrary Loan.

2. To log into the interlibrary loan system, choose Please Login and use your library card number as your username and the last four digits of your library card number as your password. Click on submit.

3. In the search bar at the top of the page, enter information such as the title, author, or keywords of the item you want to request.

4. Once you find the item, double-check that the format type (e.g., book, video, or audiobook) is correct, and then click the request icon.

5. Fill in all of the necessary fields and add any notes in the Patron's Notes field.

6. Click on Submit. A confirmation page will show that your request has been successfully submitted. Once you have finished submitting requests, you can log out of your account.
