When we reopened The Maker Spot in September of 2021 after being closed for a year, we temporarily waived membership dues for non-residents to compensate for lost time and welcome everyone back. Beginning September 1, 2022, monthly memberships will resume; anyone over 18 who is not a resident of North Richland Hills must maintain a monthly membership to use the equipment in The Maker Spot.
Any user age 18 and under can always use the space and equipment* for free, regardless of residency status. In addition, memberships are only required for equipment use, and are not required to take classes, attend events, or visit The Maker Spot.”
Memberships are accepted through the Friends of the Library website and distributed to the Library to support The Maker Spot. Memberships are auto-renewed on the 1st day of each month and can be paused or canceled at any time. In addition, memberships are eligible to be waived for those who volunteer to teach a class in The Maker Spot.* NRH residents who would like to contribute extra to support The Maker Spot are always welcome to donate.
If you have any questions about memberships, please call The Maker Spot at 817-427-6850.
