Celebrate the iconic works of Jane Austen through themed events at the NRH Library all month long! Enjoy a range of themed events, including historical talks, crafts for all ages, and a delightful community afternoon tea. There's something for both devoted and casual Jane Austen fans of all ages!

Jane Austen Movie Night

Don't walk, traverse through a dewy meadow backlit by the soft dawn of a new day to the library! You're welcome to bring a soft craft that you have at home (like knitting, embroidery, or crochet) to work on while we watch the 2005 Pride and Prejudice movie.

Regency Music with the 50 Strings Duo

Join the library in celebrating all things Jane Austen by attending this divertissement musical by the 50 Strings Duo, a pair of accomplished ladies of incredible skill: Kristine Fish on the violin and Irene Lee on the harp. Their beautiful classical music will transport you back to the Regency era!

Family Art Night

Practice the art of letter writing at the library! Write a thank-you letter to family, friends, or one of the library's volunteers who help make the library a better place for everyone. We'll have fountain pens, paper, and seals to make your letters extra special.

Jane’s Afternoon Tea

The NRH Library cordially invites you to attend a delightful afternoon of tea, light bites, and lively conversation inspired by the timeless elegance of Jane Austen's works.
