Story Times
Reading aloud promotes early literacy skills in young children and is widely recognized as the single most important activity leading to language development. Reading aloud builds word-sound awareness in children and takes them to places and times they have never been, enlarging and enhancing their worlds. Reading aloud creates a positive association with books and reading, as well as provides a chance for parents and children to strengthen their bond.
We currently offer 3 weekly programs for toddlers and young children. Read on below to see which one is the right fit for you and your family! We also offer a 6-week Babygarten series and a monthly event where young readers can read aloud to therapy dogs, Read with Mollie's Friends.
