Story Times

Children at storytimeReading aloud promotes early literacy skills in young children and is widely recognized as the single most important activity leading to language development. Reading aloud builds word-sound awareness in children and takes them to places and times they have never been, enlarging and enhancing their worlds. Reading aloud creates a positive association with books and reading, as well as provides a chance for parents and children to strengthen their bond.

We currently offer 3 weekly programs for toddlers and young children. Read on below to see which one is the right fit for you and your family! We also offer a 6-week Babygarten series and a monthly event where young readers can read aloud to therapy dogs, Read with Mollie's Friends.
